Mattie likes his work to reflect himself. Loud, bold, and difficult to ignore. A Senior Creative Producer and Creative Director with over a decade of experience, he's the founder of Curl Creative — a boutique agency specialising in kids and branded content for some of the world's biggest entertainment and toy brands, including Disney, Nickelodeon, Mattel, and Paramount. Based in the Kent countryside (Tunbridge Wells, to be precise — yes, it's a real place), he's the kind of creative who falls in love with an idea from the very first "hang on, that's interesting" — and won't let go until it's on screen and doing something brilliant. He is usually accompanied by Biggie, a miniature dachshund with strong opinions about shoot locations.

Mattie's career spans over a decade across kids entertainment, branded content, broadcast, and commercial production — from early days as an Assistant Producer at Disney and Nickelodeon, through senior roles at some of the UK's best creative agencies, to founding Curl Creative in 2024. When he's not in the edit or on a pitch, he's a recovering snowboard instructor, a session guitarist, and a devoted fan of heavy metal and anything with a good scream in it. He's also a voracious consumer of fiction in all its forms — video games, novels, films, art, and writing about himself in the third person.
